FEATURED FELLOW

Dr Tony Aitchison was the recipient of the Dow Chemical Company Fellowship in 2012 for his work in developing rechargeable batteries that can work at low temperatures. He successfully developed batteries that could work at temperatures as low as -60C. This solved a raft of problems that electric cars had in cold climates and led to two patents being filed. Since returning to Australia he has launched his own consulting company, Green Beaker Consulting. He has also launched several startups – his most recent, Add-Life Tech, is addressing the problems associated with post-stroke in-home rehabilitation by using Virtual Reality. The company is currently in a capital raising round.
