Current Scholars & AAA Alumni at the 70th Anniversary Benefit Dinner, 2018.

American-Australian Education Fund

The American Australian Association (AAA) established its Graduate Education Scholarship Fund in 2002 to provide much needed financial support and assistance to American and Australian graduates seeking to undertake study and research in each other’s countries.  With more than 300 scholar alumni and US $8 million invested to date, the AAA is committed to helping advance graduate education, in order to enable our countries most valuable resource – human capital – to unlock creative new solutions to global challenges and improve the quality of life for all citizens.  Many of our scholars have gone on to become influencers and thought leaders in their fields across the world - working in the government, the private sector and nonprofit organizations.

Each year the AAA hosts two education scholarship rounds in each direction.  Scholarships are awarded up to a maximum of US $40,000 for one-year, to support Graduate level study (Masters, PH.D, or Post-Doctoral Research) in various disciplines. The scholarship award may be used to support travel, living, tuition or other associated educational costs.

We are proud to have built an alumni network of scholars’ eager to continue to deepen and strengthen the American-Australian relationship through educational and intellectual exchange.

The AAA is currently accepting scholarship applications to the scholarships outlined below. Please see each scholarship page for the eligibility requirements.
